Who it’s for
Authentigrate supports people who move abroad for work or family, and the companies that relocate them. Culture shock, loneliness and small daily confusions add up — and many international moves fail because of it.
What needed to change
One platform had to connect three groups: people who are moving, experienced local “Navigators” who guide them, and HR teams who pay for the support. And it needed an AI companion people would trust with personal worries.
What I built
- [01]A guided sign-up with a short wellbeing check-in
- [02]A directory of Navigators with map search, profiles and availability
- [03]Booking and payments, with Navigators paid out automatically
- [04]In-app chat and video calls
- [05]Identity checks, credentials and a signed agreement for every Navigator
- [06]An admin console for approvals, earnings, disputes and support
- [07]Journey — a private AI companion that notices which stage of culture shock someone is in and adapts its support
How it works, step by step
- [01]
A newcomer signs up and checks in
- [02]
Journey, the AI companion, gets to know them
- [03]
They find and book a Navigator
- [04]
Sessions happen by chat or video
- [05]
Payments and payouts run automatically

to match with a Navigator (Authentigrate’s promise)
Journey runs on a model we host, not a public chatbot
Decisions that mattered
- [01]Host the AI model privately, because people share personal struggles.
- [02]Serverless GPUs that scale to zero, so the private AI stays affordable.
- [03]Humans plus AI, not AI alone — the companion supports, Navigators guide.
The technology
For the technically curious. You don’t need to know any of this to work with me.
